As a college professor, I spend almost as much time meeting with students, giving them advice, and mentoring them as I do in the classroom. Outside of the classroom, I regularly counsel folk on how to “do PR” better – engage audiences online; introduce a new product or service to new audiences; or build relationships with stakeholders
I launched Clemons Consulting, LLC in 2015 to help people – whether they be large federal government agencies or an individual launching their business – be more thoughtful about how they go about reaching audiences and sharing their stories. Along my journey I realized that I absolutely love helping people learn that there’s so much more to PR than writing press releases; but even more, I realize that I love helping people figure out their life’s passions and reach their goals through the art of communications.
“Office Hours” is the place where I get out of my head and on to paper all that I know about PR and about navigating this industry in the hopes that I can help guide as many entrepreneurs, creatives, nonprofit organizations, students, government agencies and the world, make smart communications decisions when wanting to connect with others.
